just need power wire, ground, rcas, etc. to install it. but with the hi/low converter you should be able to get a signal to the amp with rcas, and just set the crossover accordingly and u should be set

Before removing the HU from the dash, you should search the forum for directions. The key is NOT to pry from the outside. I guaranty you will damage the dash. Also, after removing the assembly, be sure to purchase 7 NEW clips for the re-install. They tend to fly off and get lost and are intended for one time use only.
Good luck...

do the hi-low converter its the best way to go also shouldn't void warrenty so I've been told I did it and sounds good! I ran it off the rear speakers instead of risking to take the dash apart just get the wiring diagram and do it that way

Thanks for all the help. At the end i decided to make something up that i saw for making an amp useful in a house. And here goes the idea that i saw. They used a power supply to power up the amp and the radio, and any other 12volt item. They put out this diagram which i took, its not made by me. And so i though, why dont i do that to make it easy to mount my amp. And i already had a power converter, which made the 12volt ac from batery 120volt dc. Here is a picture that I took of my power converter. My mp3 had a adapter to make it 2 lines out, one line goes to the car radio input; the other goes to the amp. Connected to my power converter i got a computer power supply, with the mod shown in the first picture. And here is the final product. It works decently, plus i can connect anything in the other ports of the compuer power supply because each connector has 12volts. Hopefully i will get some neons there.

The power converter auto shuts down if anything is abnormal, and i dont really understand the wattage question, cause i am giving my amp 12 volts just like the battery, tho bateries tend to have a lil more power. Still sounds nice, and as i think i said this is for a time only, and for some testing. I could just add on a computer in my fit, i got all sorts of extra parts of computers and who knows what i might make in there :P

Is your power converter plugged into the cigarette lighter plug? The converter has a three prong plug coming out of it, right? That's what I think I'm looking at. What kind of amplifier do you have hooked up to it? Home or car audio amp?

Thats really messy and unnessary, why not just run 1 normal wire to the battery?

I felt creative... lol And since you guys deserved it to look less messy, i came up with another idea. I made this prototype box for the computer power supply. I know its still unpainted or unwrapped by anything, but its the concept what i wanna show. Thats made by me, and here is what it looks like in a real picture. As you can see i still got 3 ports with 12 volts, and got like 2 more ports hidden at the back.
