I did mine last April/May. While some of you guys are playing tag on the "rep points" thread, rep points should be saved for times like this.

Alcantara Italian Suede - priceless

It's been a over a year and I have trouble remembering last week with some things. LOL I wanna say no it's not hard. If you break a clip, just get more from the parts dept. My car was stripped with less than 60 miles on it except for the dashboard. The first 60 miles was the round trip to the tint shop.

For those doing this don't use glue like 3M upholstery or similar cause they don't last long. You will get sagging and pokets eventually. Go to an upholstery shop and get their glue.
I did it on a previous car and just be glad the Fit is a hatch so you can just slide the roof out the back.

More info on getting the a pillars off and the headliner would be awesome. I have my XM and Navi antenna on the dash, but would love to get one of the shark fin antennas and mount them up on the roof under it.

i was looking at it last night and im sure you can just pop the top of it and not pull it all the way off and slide it out after you do the back and un screw everything.

Another thing Ill try and do is add some type of deadening to block the heat.
Anyone noticed the Fit headliner is at the thickest 1/2in thick? Theres nothing that stops heat from the roof.
