Well, I did pull up in my Fit next to their Fit... so I think they knew I drove one... lol. It was just really embarassing to be caught!

As for the crazy german cat woman... well, I have German in me and took up this name back when I was in highschool and taking German. Back then, aol was all the hype and it was really hard to get a screenname that hadn't already been taken. I tried to get KatzeChic but some little kid beat me to it. So, I had to go with KatzeChicX.

In short, German? yes, some. Cats? two, I want a dog but my husband says I have a two pet limit. I'm trying to get rid of his cat. Crazy? I sincerely hope not, but it is always hard to tell from this side of the fence.

As for the JL box.... still jealous it is available for your car and not mine. Then again, maybe it is better this way so I don't have to figure out how to afford it.

When the S-box was in development, the 09 wasn't out yet. For now, there are more 07-08's on the road than the new 09. I was completely surprised that they built this model. In the past when they did Civic boxes, they didn't sell enough to sustain doing it. The average person who has a $16k car doesn't want to spend the $$$ for a single 10 inch woofer. They want to spend less and do a Dual 12 in sub box and don't care about giving up trunk space. There are so many different views on this and budgets. If somebody can appreciate the quality along with quantity of bass, then it is great. Even thou they don't have an enclosure for the 09, you can still do their full range speaker system and one of their other enclosures that aren't vehicle specific.
They have a single 8W3 ported box that is small and sounds amazing. Two of those would kick serious ass!
If enough 07-08's are sold, then they would probably look at doing an 09. Then again, they also need access to the vehicle. If somebody is close by, they could always contact them if they could give up their car for awhile.

Very well put.

I'd volunteer my car, but I doubt they are around here. I hope they realize with all of the changes 2008 brought with it, different markets may be attracted to the 2009 model as compared to previous.

Of course, we'll see how the gas prices continue to treat us...

Even though I don't use my trunk for anything crazy, I still think it's retarded to kill your entire cargo area with subs. I just want this one, because I'm not a hardcore bass-addict anyway, I prefer melodies to bass drums...highs > lows. Besides, listening to techno all day with 2 or 3 subs in the back would piss me off pretty fast. Unnecessary. I don't think of this as spending nearly 10% as much as the car cost, on a subwoofer. I think of it as a factory-looking audio option that looks just like Honda offered themselves and is well worth the price due to past experience, and saving precious maybe-one-day-I'll-need-it cargo space.

Well put t-sailor. If you could hear my two 13's fill in with the dual components in my front doors, you would piss in your pants! With a sub level control, I can go from Diana Krall to Eminem only fading the bass a little more, or a little less. Of course with Eminem, the windshield moves. Hehehehe!

...contact JL Audio on their website. Or go to a dealer that stocks JL and tell them to order one.

It sounds awesome! I've had way better systems before, but for the fit it's perfect. It's not the loudest or the deepest bass, but it's more than enough for my needs, being that I ain't no spring chicken anymore! I still have almost all my cargo space left and to me that's what's important.
