i've read ALL the threads on this, and no one seems to have figured posted confirmation.

now, on crutchfield, there are 3 models of USA spec for honda, and it lists one as working with our car, but makes no distinction to the Base/Sport

usaspec.com also lists the newest one as working with all models of fit.

can anyone shed a little light? i emailed usaspec to confirm, but it's been a few days and they haven't gotten back to me.

No idea what you are talking about but all I know is far as the ipod is I have an 8gb ipod nano original edition of them and i just plug it into the aux jack and that is that.

 

i'm trying to get the direct connection in that's better audio quality, and charges without having a ton of wires everywhere.

 

I only have one wire running from the ipod to the aux plug. Sound quality is great only issue I have is to change song I have to go back to the ipod but that really isn't that big of a deal.

 

Will the one wire you have running to the aux jack also charge the Ipod? If not charging suggestions please? Thank you.......

 

no it won't. you have to have something like the monster cable solution.

plus, with that, you don't have control of the ipod through the radio.
