Huper Optic Window Tint

Does anyone here have it or another ceramic window tint?

My question is this: Is it worth the money? I was quoted almost $600 for it.

I live in Vegas and all the glass in the fit sucks in the heat like a M.F.'r.

I've been in cars with el cheapo tint and that seems to work well when your driving. Put when parked, the cheap stuff sucks heat in worse than no tint at all.

I usually park outside and want something that won't turn the car into an oven.

Let me know your thoughts and experiences.

I read your tread which was really good. However, it doesn't really go into the ceramic that much.

I want to hear if anyone has ceramic and if they thought it was worth more than double the cost.

I would only go with ceramic if I had the money to burn and I was really having a problem with reception on my cellphone or navi unit with metalized films. I have sputtered metallic film myself, and it is amazing at heat rejection. And so far I have had no issue at all with cellphone usage or even my radar detector.

could not have said it any better. Thats exactly what my tint guy told me. Ceramic just gives you less interference. I currently have Suntek metallic tint and i just love it.

Hey just got an 09 fit, do not have tint yet but i had huper optic on my g35 sedan and it looked classy and was good for heat but its not worth the money........if you have nav and radar it may be worth it to you thats why i did it with the g35......but i would never spend that much on tint again because the heat difference is not that great i could tell but not as much as i thought.....and i had my front windshield tinted also. Hope this helps a bit if you have any other questions pm me. And 600 is too much . i paid 450 with tax and the windows are bigger on the g35.

Cooler

I went and got the Huper Optic Tint. Wanted to block heat more than I needed it super dark. (It's blocks about 85% of the heat) I really enjoy the cooler, more comfortable ride, along with the lifetime warranty!
