Possible to import armrest and maplights from Mexico?
It's come to my attention that, for whatever weird reason, the JDM style Fit is sold in Mexico. That means it has the armrest and maplights, among other goodies.
The US borders Mexico, so why is anyone yet to import things like armrests and maplights from Mexico?
I mean, seriously. :-P

Oh, and the Element maplights are the same as the JDM Fit maplights. My only problem there is mounting them. I'm not sure how they would or if there's anything in the headliner it'll mount to.

they are jdm spec, but the older version, not the s2k front bumper style. I went to baja california back in august and i went 2 the dealership 2 check out their cars and low and behold, a jdm spec fit was there (cept for being LHD).

I'd just install the Element map light. It's been done by a bunch of folks, including myself
