how does the FIT rear wiper....

hey guys... not sure where to put this in the forum, but i was wondering.... how would an intermittent wiper work? is it just the motor that controls the timing of the wiper? and if that's the case.... it's probably probable that i can just get an intermittent motor from another car and configure it to the FIT? anyone out there know anything about this? thx.

If I'm not mistaken, a simple timed relay would do the trick. Hooking one up between the wiper motor and the switch (even just the wiring) is all that's required.

Of course, I could be wrong...

you need 3 relays and a Motorola 555 Timer chip and a contact switch. .

Nope... just basic electronics can allow for this.

You need 1 relay to activate with the motorola 555 timer chip (allows for intermittant use.) then 2 relays to make a latching circuit so tha the wiper will continue it;s full sweep. then the contac switch to unlatch the relays once the wiper is back at it's sarting position.
