It is actually easy to run 0 gauge through the fit

Finally got my install done this weeked
Car sounds absolutely incredible and is definately a very stealth system.

Running the 0 gauge was easy along the left side of the car only hard part was drilling the hole through the firewall since there are 2 pieces of metal

So what we did
Kappa perfects in front doors
Kappa 3 way coax in the rears
Kappa perfect 12 in rear
JL 500/1 and 450/4 in spare tire well
0 gauge ran to amps
12 gauge ran to front speakers 16 gauge to rears

box is mdf for now till I can afford glassing supplies

here are a few pics, sorry I didnt take that many.

JL bass knob (I love this thing)

great install, man - extremely clean, love how you did the wiring. and where you put the bass knob...brilliant!

so you're powering two amps with the 1/0 - I'm guessing you hid a distribution block under the amp platform?

that sub is absolutely sweet. what Q have you configured it to?

what rings are those for the doors?
and do you have any interference with the door panels?

and...how did you get your tweets to mount and contour along the door?

The stock tweeters actually pop out so no cutting was needed.
They are 1'' metra spacers

i've tried to fit my CDT tweets in place....and the contour of the door just won't allow it to sit flush i mean, it's THE SINGLE WORST place you can ever put tweeters...but, it's simple. i guess it's back to fiberglass kicks

What do you mean? shouldn't tweets be somewhere where the tweets are equal distance from the driver? (close to...)

ok, besides in the trunk or under the hood....so the third worst place

imaging there is SEMI ok...but path lengths are HORRIBLE. Unless you have a HU with a VERY accurate time alignment....it'll be such a biased sound, it'd post HORRIBLE scores

Its not the best I agree but there are worst places such as on the dash like a lot of stock systems

And in the fit they are not that far sure the kicks would be better but stock spots will do for now.

And for fun I do have a HU with accurate time allignment alpine 9887

In car audio mag the winner of the peioneer sq comp had the tweetes on top of the doors so it can work.

taking the stock plastic piece....building off some mdf speaker rings and then glassing that

gonna have a carpet finish...purely for the fact that it's more durable than painted TW or vinyled

I did kicks in one of my civics and painted it with Duplicolor truck bed coating. It was very durable and sort of matched the texture of the plastic in the car. Just a thought. Please post pics when you are done.
