PSP GPS mounted

So I havent gotten my GPS reciever yet for my PSP. but I intend to make it into a GPS unit. here is a suctioncup mount I bought on clearance at Target for 10 bucks. a little annoyed that the design doesnt accomodate screen covers.

I have a skin tight polycarbonate shell that clips to the front of the psp. but with the way that holder is designed, it interferes with the screen cover. the one good thing is that it wont interfere with the gsp reciever which plugs into the top of the psp. They should have designed the holder like the back of a BROADWAY mirror. with telescoping arms.

anyway I also have an uglhy wire to hook it up to my aux and I can watch psp movies. haha

nope and it has to be a particular OE (open end) custom firmware. However the OE firmwares are a hybrid. im running 3.10 OE so i can still play the 1.5 ver homebrew stuff and play playstation one games like granturismo.

I was looking at the Arkon Kit and it looks like it will interfer with the GPS unit.
Im not sure how I want to mount my psp yet but I prefer a dash mount or somewhere were I can keep it charged. Target & Circuit City so far has good cheap mounts that wont interfer with the GPS unit when mounted.

Target : Psyclone Car Kit for PlayStation Portable

You can mount it to the front window and have it hang right above the dash. but the dash has those dimples which makes it impossible to suction cup to it. You could use mounting tape I suppose but I prefer not to have anything permanent to my dash
