I got mine in but I've been way too lazy to compile MapThis and get it all working. Anyone have any tips to getting it all up and running??

 

i decided to downgrade my older PSP and use it w/ the GPS. i did a quick read thru the above posted forums on custom firmware and whatnot but i haven't had the time to get into it.

who here already has their shit hooked up and running and what steps did you take?

i'm guessing it won't be too difficult to change my firmware to custom one from the 3.71 i'm at right now, I HOPE

 

...i have a PSP version 2.71 (upgraded from 1.52) that is laying around....so what do i need to do...or should I just get a newer one...? I don't know how to do this mod stuff. (too lazy to learn).

 

well you gotta make a pandora battery. that is the easiest thing to do. Get a spare sony battery and spare sony memstick pro duo. higher than 32 mb.

It will downgrade anything.

yeah, but don't you need to find someone w/ a hacked psp inorder to make the pandora battery?
