I'm just a little nervous because I bought an AVIC D1 a few years back for a really good price and after correct install it blew a fuse and something in the unit itself fried. So I called the vendor, they said call Pioneer and Pioneer would take care of it. I called Pioneer, Pioneer said they wouldn't honor it, so I called the vendor back and the vendor ended up taking it, but it took me over 2 months to get something back. And 3 months after the second unit was installed, it too did not work properly. So I'm just a little weary, but I will take a look at Sonix's site.

A large subwoofer can sound just as good if not better than a smaller one. With more cone area the sub doesn't have to move as much to create the same amount of output. The less it moves the more likely it is to stay linear. Many people people believe that 8's or 10's are "faster" than 15's, but a well designed speaker has enough motor for proper control.

Oh, they are dual voice coil 4 ohms. So the coils are in series for 8 ohms on each speaker, and then the speakers are in parallel for a 4ohm load.

One reason too why I like the tens is that well I can fiberglass two little .6cuf boxes so I can save some room in the fit. Sure a 15 would be fun but damn it take some space

You will want to go with the JL 500/1. Anything more and you'll be sucking wind for current. Even with that 500, the car struggles. There's very little output from the alternator and the stock battery blows chunks! The 8W7/12W7 has single 3 ohm voice coils.

hey i work at best buy as mobile tech. and i pretty much paid cost, 50 for dash kit and 5 bucks for the harness and bought the ant adapt from the store...

I'm doing the big 3 and hooking it up to a 4farad cap so it should help quite a bit.

just call scosche and tell them you work at bestbuy and its not in the system yet, ask for drew and we carry the harness and ant adapt

My Scosche wiring harness HA10b had the constant battery and ground wires backwards. I did a little searching and apparently Scosche made a bad batch.

Use a Stinger 200 amp relay in between the two batteries. It isolates them when you shut off the car. I think the part no is SR200.

Im new to this 2 battery thing. What are the benefits of using thjis stinger 200 amp relay?
