shift boots

im looking to replace the stock shift boot i have for a leather one. i couldnt find anything on it. would a shift boot from integra t-r or civic t-r fit in the fit? i know that the mugen shift boot because aj racing has it in their fit. looking to get a skunk2 or blox shift knob with it. im new to this so any help would be great.

I have the Type R in mine, but it takes some modification to fit.

boot needs to be cut practically in 1/2 and then depending on how you want to mount it then theres a few things you can do.

you can also do the 06-07 Si shiftboot, which would be easier or RSX boot.

would you happen to have pics so I can see how the boot looks.

I assume you use the stock ring? I haven't seen under the shifter so I'm unsure how the boot would mount. I'm guessing similar to my integra with a frame that boot wraps around at the bottom?

there was someone that did a DIY here, but its actually pretty easy. The Fit has less "tabs" on the bottom than the rsx or Si boot, however if you use most of them it should be ok. Theres 3 screws underneath as well (not for the boot) but I used those to hold it in place since I used a DC2 boot with no tabs on the bottom.
