Fit Factory Radio Wiring Harness
Custom wiring harness for 2007 Honda Fit. Used Metra 70-1722 to connect to the harness, and 71-1722 to connect to the radio. The 70-1722 isn't fully pinned out, so I had to buy FOUR of them, to get enough of the small pins and wires to fully pin it out. Pricey, but at least it's done right. The missing wires were for the security wire, speed sensor wire, etc, etc.
Soldered and heat shrink wrapped all the connections, spliced into the middle of the radio side wire, to create "pigtails" with the rest of the wire.
I only wish the factory radio provided an remote turn on lead. As such, I have to use the switched 12v ACC lead, I suppose, and the amps will be switched on with the ignition switch. If it proves to be a problem, I could use a toggle switch I suppose.
Has anyone else tackled the lack of a remote turn on lead yet, using the factory radio?

The remote turn on lead is connector # B16 on the back of the radio. There is no wire in the wiring harness, but the pin is adjacent to the yellow wire on the 20 pin connector (there are six wires coming into that connector from the aux-in connector in the console).
