I was doing some research and read on certain cars/state laws that when using fog lights with high beams is illegal and they have to turn off when in use. Maybe thats why they cut off when I use my high beam and why the indicator is on. I dont remember that they turn off before I did this mod. There might be another relay connected to the foglight relay.

For those that havent done this mod yet, can you check too see if the fogs do turn off when using the high beam?

In my Integra, the fog lights are simply wired to work when the low beams are on. I’ll be pissed off if Honda added another relay to the circuit.

Its was a careless mistake thats all... thought it was my transmission.
But yeah I think the only way to get the foglights to work with the highbeam is to run a 2nd relay.

i know if u hook up a hot to the relay it will stay on with the high beams. im just wating for a wire pin out for the fog lights cuz then u could run a hot to the oem switch and then a key on hot to the relay. cuz right now mine work with the low or highs on. but they just come on with the key on.

Would you know if the relay for the foglight is a SPDT?

Thanks to the pioneers who are working on this. I've been wanting to do this on my element for a long time now and now on my fit too. Hopefully when you get all of the kinks worked out we could have and updated DIY with more pics?

If you guys are relying on the schematic posted on page two, good luck. That's for the JDM model. The USDM and CDM models will have a different setup.
