Is the electric mirror switch lighted ?
Hello to all with electric mirrors,
Does the mirror control switch have an internal light which illuminates the word "mirror" when the dash is illuminated? 2007 Fit
Cheers

Thanks for the confirmation of what I thought. I will remove, edit, my other postings.
I am adding electric mirrors to my base model. The manual does not show any other wire connections than those required to move the mirrors. The connector to the mirror switch is present under the dash with only one wire attached. The colour of the wire does not match any of the wires shown in the manual. It has power when the lights are on. The switch has 9 pins and only 8 are shown as present in the electric mirror wiring diagrams.
Thanks to you I can now conclude that the mysterious extra pin is for illumination, and that the connector, which was not connected to anything, is confirmed as being there for the mirror switch. I can now proceed in conformity with Honda intentions.
Thanks again.

My bubble is just fine thanks !
The base model does not have electric mirrors. I want to render the car more interesting to my wife. Electric adjustable mirrors will help. Honda is very economical when they build cars. If something isn't required for the unit in question, generally it isn't there, hence the absence of all wires not needed due to the absence of electric mirrors. I got the mirrors and switch from scrap yards and am in the process of making up the wiring necessary.
You have contributed to my project. Thank-you.
Cheers
PS I tied to delete my other postings but all I was allowed to do was to edit them. I sent a note to the webmaster.
