They are located in New York. I couldn't be without my car so what I did was buy brand new headlights from Honda which cost about $400, and sent those to Rich. When he sent me the retrofitted headlights I installed them and sold my old oem headlights for about $300 to a member on here who is also getting a retrofit. So total I was out another $100 but at least I didn't have to be without my car.

Well he doesn't aim them, he aligns them to make sure they are perfectly straight. You have to align them once on the car, but he mounted them so I can use the stock aligning system.

yeah, I remember the first night I drove with them. I was like shocked at their output all night. I wish one of my current cars could fit them in the housing. I miss driving with LS430 projectors.

Yeah they are pretty big, luckily Fit headlights are huge so you can fit anything in there, but you'll lose your high beams with the LS430's. FX35 are great projectors though, they have one of the best high beams too. Plus with the clear lens you get that colorful cutoff.

a little late on seeing this thread, but im sure glad i found it. love your light setup by the way 'qb' looks AMAZING! its either taillights or those projectors but after looking through this thread i almost just want to get those projectors now! just wondering tho - after sending your headlights how long did it take for them to come back?

Well he had mine for about a month because I didn't have the money right away but that way he can work on them. I need my car daily so what I did was buy some new headlights from Honda for about $400 and had them shipped directly to him. Then when he sent me the done retrofits I just sold the old stock headlights for $300 so I was only out an extra $100, but it beats driving a rental because I can't be without a car. But he told me that he can do the retrofit in one day, the problem is the shipping which takes about 3 days anyway, he's located in New York. So you'll probably be out a week or so.

Excellent info. And yes, not nearly enough people understand/believe this info. They spend $50 on "HID Blue" crap bulbs, then blind everyone around. Like qbmurderer explains, if your HID system doesn't use projectors, ballasts, and ignitors, then it isn't really HID. HID's aren't bulbs, they're capsules. No filaments.
If you're gonna mod, DO IT RIGHT or not at all. The stock headlights on my Fit are still better than most cars out there. Here's a hint: if you spent less than $500, chances are you don't have a proper HID set-up.
Thanks again for the great write-up. This should be required reading.
