BI-XENON HID help
so i just finish installing the kit that i got from XenonVisions
my driver side hi beam is not working. i swap the blaster from passenger side to the driver side to see if that was the problem but it wasn't the case. can it be the bulb ?

Have you checked the fuses? Some HID ballasts have connectors that can fit backwards. (positive and negative can be switched) Check to see that the plugs are the correct way. Take a VERY close look! I've made that mistake before.

Hey u should just take some pics of the install and post them to let us help you out. I just installed the Xenith Xenon kit and my hi/low work just fine! Bi-xenons can be tricky sometimes but if you have it wired wrong then things tend to happen. What kit do you have?

yeah xenith xenon's kits are excellent but he has xenith vision's kit, one i haven't had any experience with.
To the OP, i would just switch bulbs to see if the ballasts and the relays are working fine. If u switch the bulbs and it doesnt work, its the relay. If it does work, it's the bulb's actuator.

BI-xenon, as in 2 xenon bulbs per socket, the only real REAL bi-xenon, has EVERYTHING to do with the BALLASTs.
1 low beam xenon with 1 halogen high is NOT bixenon, bi means 2
1 xenon bulb moving to change the focal point in the reflector housing is NOT
bi-xenon, bi means 2
a REAL BI-XENON system has 4 ballasts, 2 for the highs and 2 for the lows, therefore.......u have been duped into buying a fake "bi-xenon" set-up
if the passenger side high beam does not work but it does work when u swap the bulbs from left to right and then the drivers side high beam stops working then u know for sure that the high beam bulb (or the wire/connector leading from the bulb) is defective.
u know that the ballast is ok because it now lights the newly swapped bulb
u know that the wiring harness is ok because it lights the swapped bulb
u know that the fuses r ok because there is only 1 fuse per hi/low circuit, (both highs would not light up if fuse was blown)
my guess is that there is a bad connection where the wire actually meets the bulb (inside the bulb's base).....u need a new bulb assembly (that is the whole hi/lo bi-xenon, socket, wires and the connectors) NOT the wiring harness or the ballast or the other bulb assembly

the thread is clearly labeled "BI-XENON HID help",
NOT "low beam only"
or "single xenon hi/low moving"
or "low beam xenon, high beam halogen"
"BI-XENON" means 2 that is TWO XENON bulbs per socket (for a total of 4 xenon bulbs for the hi/lo system"

update so yesterday i got home at night i notice my low beam was out too on driver side. so today i switch the bulbs today low beam works and high beam works only if i have the car running or else only one bulb will work. and it makes a noise like bzz when i turn on the lights i don't know if i don't have enough power to run the lights because i have an ampflifer connected to the battery too. i swap out all the speakers and the head unit is not OEM.
