do you have drl's or driving lights on ur fit? bec in different parts of the world some fits have driving lights and if you do you need to somehow disconnect them to run hids on ur fit, i had the same problem with putting on an hid high beam kit on my friends 2000 chevy silverado, since he has two bulbs it only messes up if you put a hid kit in the high beams, but since the fit usually only has one bulb for highs and lows than it wont work unless you disconnect the driving lights from your car, ive seen this alot of the canda fits, check around on the forum and see if you can find a fit that had to disconnect them, only if you have driving lights on ur car

no don't return it. U probably have the pins in the wrong place. I highly recommend u just re-pin it on both sides. U'll figure it out. Remember, there is ONE positive and TWO grounds in the oem harness.
