LED Strip question
What I want to do is wire up an LED strip which will be strategically placed on the car. What I want it to do is basically have only a small section of it on at any time and that section would "marquee" back and forth across the strip. Depending on dificulty, I may want it to pulse slowly as well.
Does anyone know where I could get the LED's for this and point me in the direction for how to wire/program it? I want it to run independently of my parking lights/Turn signals/Headlights and be activated by a switch.
I've been thinking about this for weeks now...I just can't find any reliable info out there. TYIA for any input.

American Science and Surplus in Geneva on RT38, Call first (630-232-2882) there is a guy there (I think his name is John?) that knows everything. My GF works there & I've just started looking into LED's and how they work and what knot. Call them up and tell them you have a Q about LED's. Hope this helps.
