I got mine from Kamispeed. Got them during the RSX/Si meet.
$30-35 for REAL DC5 sidemarkers, sockets, bulbs, and harness. They were actually free, Christmas. I R Lucky.

just get clear if you cant find colored- and paint! you can find the "special" translucent paint around

you can use whatever sidemarkers you want. they all wire up the same.

its just whatever look you want...if you want long ass sidemarkers then the prelude is the way to go.

short and small the dc2 is the way to go.

just whatever appeals to your eye.

god i want amber side markers so bad, but i dont think they would look all that great on a nhbp. if you havent found any yet jdmland.com has them.
go to the dc5 section, i might be wrong on the price but you can get the markers, harness' and sockets for 50 or 55 buckaroos. and they ship stupid fast. the last time i ordered from them i got my shipment two days before i got an email saying that is was going to be shipped. i think it took 4 days to get my goods.
