Is this normal for N1 LED tail lights?

I ordered a set of Clear/Red LED tails from N1 Concepts last week and was super excited to receive it on Monday.

Upon closer inspection of the lights, I found that the inside of the lens is scratched up on both passenger and driver sides. Also it seems that the glue on the lights was poorly applied. There is a large bead of glue that goes around the inside of the lights. Also there are some fuzzy glue hairs.

Did I get a bad pair of N1 lights? Or is this normal? Could other people with LED tails give some insight?
It kinda sucks to spend 87 dollars for something thats kinda crappy.

They should advertise this as a feature.

Hairy tail lights...all the cool kids have them.

Hairy tail lights...like bread mold, but less disgusting.

it's normal.. they are getting rid of their inventory, and they are cheap, you got unlucky, mine just don't fit right, and I'm nitpicking, then I sucked it up, and told myself "At least you didn't cough up 500$ for the OEM ones...)

I bought a pair and they were the best qualitiy for a item that big and only $100.I had trouble putting in the right side, but got it in and checked for leak's and found none(though they weren't flush against the body like stock). That being said,I had them in my SSM and ended taking them out because I didn't like the look of them and went back to stock. But if your looking for tail's and don't want to spend $500,they are well worth it.Alot of people on here have them and haven't reported any problem's yet.Sorry about your bad experience.

you should just put em up on eBay. I had thoughts of buying the N1 ones, but decided on the real deal. Regrets spending $400 on them? No.

IMO nothing gives a better reassurance than factory items. Just my opinion!

go JDM OEM or keep the stock ones, if you must... pray that you get a good set, its a hit or miss type thing it seems like... I wanted a set awhile back as well, currently saving for the real deal.

Yeah N1's quality seems to have dropped. I see more, and more bad reviews of there LED's.
MIne are not bad, i guess i got lucky. Fitment was not perfect, but it wasnt all that bad either. The only problem im now noticing on mine, last week during the rain, i noticed a tiny bit of water getting into the casing on the passenger side light. Thats ALLL bad! Good thing i kept my OEM's cause who knows how long the N1's will last before they die out.
Maybe a good time to start a smoke project on my OEM's!!

One thing good about N1 is if you live locally, just give them a call and tell them what happened and they will swap you with a new one.

I heard they will not do that.
My friend(EXWRX)had a LED go out on one of his lights. From what i heard he called, and they refused to swap him for new one..I though that was lame. They were only a few months old i belive.

O man. .... Where to start LOL
I think they should just go out of business. ( who said that? Wasn't me. ) LOL and discontinue them.

or maybe just save us the pain and everyone else who hasn't bought them yet.
Although--- they SHOULD KEEP SELLING them because they basically have the market share.
Its either OEM, ebay(iffy) or n1

Id go N1 over ebay anyday. Yeah N1 customer service is kinda ehh from what ive heard, im sure its far better then eBay vendor's. Plus i have a feeling N1 lights are a bit better quality then some of that eBay garbage.

I just installed the N1 smoked style today and took them off immediatly. First of all, the fitment was piss poor. second, my left side parking lights, and brake lights are significantly dimmer than the right side. I was soo pissed and called them, and they pretty much said I was lying cuss they told me that they test everyone with lights in them, and that they fit every single one before they ship them out, and they would have to decide, meaning that they won't give me a refund. I'm really upset right now, and I need to go jump in the shower and clean up after the waste of day to install them. I didn't even slice and extend the wire, so my wiring harnesses are still in oem condition, but after i cool off, i'll try to post some pics.
