Nokya Hyper Yellow

What's the difference between these two products if I want to use them as fogs?

Nokya H11 Yellow Bulbs Fits RSX 02+ / Civic 02+ Fog Lights 55W=80W

Nokya 9006 Hyper Yellow HB4 Light Bulbs 65W=70W

They are both the same size 9006/H11 and are both yellow.

I was given a pair of:

Nokya 9006 Hyper Yellow HB4 Light Bulbs 65W=70W

I am just worried about the 65w because in the manual it says the wattage consumption is 55w.

Do you guys think it will be okay, or will I risk melting something?

well, because you need H11 instead of 9006, they might appear to be the same, but they aren't.

I'll take that as a no – the ones I have are not compatible.

Thanks for replying!

9006 will not fit into ur foglight housings. typically, 9006 are used for stand-alone low beams (such as from the civic or accord). In the united states (and probably same w/ canada) the civic's and accord have 9006 low beams and 9005 high beams. H4 fit's in our headlights and h11's in our foglights. U might wanna sell the 9006's u have to a friend w/ a civic or accord.

Thanks everyone. I guess I have to hunt down the other ones. Any good place to these Nokya bulbs that will ship to Canada?

Alternatively, what's another option if I just want my fogs to be brighter and whiter than the stock ones?

Not sure where you live saralee, but I bought a set of Nokya yellow halogens awhile ago at a small auto accessories store at First Markham Place, in Markham (Warden / Hwy 7), if it's not too far of a drive maybe you can look into that. I think it was $40 for a set though.

You could look into Osram Night Breaker's ( Osram Night Breaker H11 from Power Bulbs )... they have a slight blue tint so it's a bit whiter... not sure if it'll be much brighter though... cause anytime there's a tint on bulbs, the light output decreases... unless the bulbs are higher wattage than stock.

Yea just like gawa said, with anything tinted with a blue coating on the bulb will reduce the amount of output on the road. Like at night it might seem alot brighter but when it rains your not going to see anything lol Yellow is the way to go. I have the nokya h11's hyper yellow's on my car right now and they work pretty damn good. These are the yellowest bulbs out there that look good, not YELLOW but a HYPER YELLOW color. sorry it is hard to explain. Yellow is the best way to go, plus you don't get that blue reflection in your foglight housing. if you do want something white but with blue coating on bulb you might want to check out Hoen high performance halogen
I have a pair of those as well but they don't match with my 5000k hid's, but they are whiter and it's a good company to get it from.

here is a picture of the nokya's on my civic

They don't look like that at night, but that is the only picture i have right now of them. good luck

P.S. I also wanted to mention about Car Bulbs from Power Bulbs - upgrade xenon car bulbs, headlight bulbs, autobulbs and autolamps from Philips, Osram and Narva. Philips X-Treme Power, Osram NightBreaker, Osram Silverstar and more., they are also a good company to get it from but they are in UK so it takes like 7 days to get to the states. They sometime/all the time have auctions on ebay so do check those out b/c they sell a lot cheaper on ebay.

You'll love them. One of the best mods I did to the car the day I got it.
