Thumbs up LED Tails installed

Well that wasn't such a chore. Thanks for the heads up on that little screw behind the bumper. That was a life saver, I never would've found that thing. I didn't get too many pictures because, of course, my camera was dying, but I got two of them to come out decent. Here's a shot of the LED tails with the smoked blinker lenses and a shot of what I did to the engine cover when I got bored lol

I got them from N1 Concepts: MotorFicionado - Premier Northern California Import Car Source and I love them. They look so much cleaner. The stock tails weren't really bad looking, but I wasn't crazy about the brake light being the bottom bulb.

I tried paying using paypal but got an error message so I just ordered them with my credit card. I got a call from them a day later about my order. Apparently, the paypal order went through somehow and they were making sure I wanted two sets instead of one. I thought it was pretty decent that they took the time to call and check instead of just assuming. I'll do business there again.

Thanks to George02 for reccomending them.

it is a simple plug it, but you'll need to extend a few wires since the lights are located in different spots. Not a big deal, well worth the hour it took. I'm really happy with them.

Hmm, Albert from N1 Concepts told me if I tug on the harness and release couple of clips holding it, it would work without having to extend wires. I uncliped paneling and did just that and it worked! BTW, looks like we are doing exactly the same mods and tails from same source. My brother from a different mother and father! LOL!

Nice job on the engine cover, too! Copycat, LOL! Just kidding!

LMAO You just can't keep good taste down!

I thought about pulling on some clips instead of extending the wire......but I honestly forgot to try that when I was installing them lol. Hey give me a break it was like 2 in the morning

Prime, you could probably do just what ciburri said and try unhooking some of the clips and get the plugs to fit. and yes, I did get the wire from Autozone. I went with 14 gauge for all of the extensions.
