HIDs.... On ebay..

I've seen HID's on ebay that sell for around $150. Are these pretty much the same as everyone elses? I know for Bi-xenon they are more expensive but in general, aren't all HID's pretty much the same? Anyone know if the dealer will install the HID's for you? I dont want to void any warranties.

Why don't you wait for Ryan's HID kits to be released here for groupbuy..

Careful with the ebay kits as they are just cheap made ones. They are not all the same. That's why the $400+ kits works better and last longer. Do a search for my thread if you can't wait any longer..

You won't void your warrenty because you are not splicing any wires. HID kits now days are plug and play. It's like hooking up a computer. Just put this here and that there, and then turn it on..

Good Luck

I have the 4300k kit. East install and havent had a problem. Cheap and great quality.
Dont go higher than 6000k. After that its all color and not enough light.

I'm new here but I bought one of the 130 $ HID kits off ebay. It was a direct plug and play system. The kit i got came with a 1 year warranty. After about 2 weeks i had a ballast go out. i emailed the guy and he asked me to send it back.. 3 days later i had a new one.. since then the kit has been on my talon for 2 years and i have bought from the same guy kits for my bike and my truck. havent had another problem

Did you use the Bi-Xenon kit? How about the wiring harness, enough wire to run a factory looking clean set-up?

Thanks...

I had just the low beam. everything was plug and play. I pluged the hid harness into the cars stock harness. For my lights i did have to switch the + and - wires on the stock harness . It was easy it took maybe an hour and thats with droping my front bumper to hide the ballast and put it all together

Ryan did you already speak to Admin about becoming a vendor? Until then you are not allowed to make any group buy posts or vendor like FS posts. Understand that we are doing this for our members and their protection.

to the OP:

Make sure that whatever kit you go with has good shielding so there isn't a crazy amount of glare blinding other drivers on the road.

I bought the regular low kit. Wiring was a little weird IMO. It has a separate 12v and ground source. All other HID kits Ive used take the 12v from the bulb plug.

It was easy once I looked at it. Clean install, you cant really see it. I didnt remove the front bumper either.

Thats because the kits now days use the bulb plug for hi.low/on.off signal.

Mine had 2 fuse boxes, and a voltage box. They sit right next to the battery.
