Audio controls on steering wheel?

Steering wheel control radio pins identified (and some others)
I took the radio apart looking for line level outputs. No luck, but I did find the following:
Connector B:
Pin 6=Ground (this is why pin 5-6 didn't work...pin 5 is ground also)
Pin 7="REMOCON" Remote volume control.
Pin 16="SW-AMP+B" Here's the remote turn on lead. I haven't verified this but all the circuitry was there so I have no reason to doubt it.
And - if you're looking for a mute input,
Connector A pin 5=mute when grounded. I tried this and it works.
I have a photo but haven't figured out how to post them yet.
Have fun...

Good news for everybody that wants radio controls on their steering wheel. The newspaper Bangkok post has an article today saying that the 2009 Jazz built in Thailand and also shipped to Australia, Malaysia, and the Philippines will come with radio controls in the steering wheel.
Now you just have to find some way to get your hands on one.

Based on my suggestion of how about a chart? posting https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gene...tml#post741702 and TW's response, I just dove into the Austrailian site... and see that the VTI and VTIs indeed has steering wheel mounted audio controls with what looks like the standard OEM HU that is on the US GE 09/10 Base and Sport.
Who wants to take the next step? This should be doable...

I would like to know what all is involved in adding steering wheel radio controls to my 09 GE Fit Sport Manual. Only the nav model recieved steering wheel radio controls. There is a spot on the steering wheel where you can add the buttons from the nav (just order the specific part), but I am curious onto the wiring for it. Forgive me if there is already a post with the solution, if there is the link would be greatly appreciated. =P

I'm about to replace my factory car receiver with a better one (yea, Crutchfield!) however the one I'm looking at is compatible with the steering wheel controls that my '09 Fit Sport does not have.
Where can I buy the controls? Has anyone successfully added these controls aftermarket?
