How white is the white?

I have an '89 CRX which is Polar White. Honda's most popular white today is Taffeta white.
The two differ in about 2 drops of blue in a gallon of paint.
There are a few drops of both blue and black in the mix.
If you go somewhere that has touchup paint, you will find all different shades of white.
Personally, I like the Taffeta white.
But to answer your question - it is "something else."

I noticed on my Tiburon, just as a point of white differences... I was touching up some scratches, getting the car ready (ish) to trade in once my Fit gets in... The Tiburon is Alpine White, and getting really up close with that touchup paint, I could see a bit of pearlescence. I've owned the car for three years, and never noticed that!
My Porsche is/was (and will be again) a color called Light Ivory, which is a slightly off white, but looks great, it's kind of a creamy color. I'm starting to get the itch to get my Porsche where I can get her painted... but there's a LOT to do before then!!
