Brand New Owner-AM Radio Issue
Hi all,
I'm so glad I stumbled on this forum, from reading around a bit you all seem super helpful!
As it says in the title I'm a brand new owner of a 2013 Honda Fit Sport. I'm loving the car in the short time I've had with it, except that the AM radio will not pick up anything but static. There are no weak signals fighting to come through, just plain static.
It might be lame but I basically exclusively listen to AM so this is a bit of an issue for me.
Thank you all for reading.

radio works beautifully on FM channels
I might connect a test antenna in the back of the radio or into the antenna wire harness and see if it makes any difference in reception just to make sure its not in the cars antenna stuff.... before spending money on a radio fix
There's an antenna lead connector in the right front kick panel area, and there's another antenna connector in the right rear upper pillar trim cover

AM and FM use the same antenna so I'd wild guess a radio problem, but there is also an antenna amplifier that could be an issue....

Where can I go from here?

It was basically rehashing post #4 but with a hopefully helpful picture of an antenna connector. Check the connectors, unplug and replug them, and check for 12v on the power lead at the rearmost connector.
