New to Honda

Hey guys,

I just converted to Honda from a VW Beetle 1.8 turbo. I have an 07' Silver Fit base. First, I want to say I love this forum. Second I want to ask if I did alright on my purchase. 55,000 mi for 7,000. Clean little car and smooth running. I bought it from a lady who had dementia and lost her DL.

Anyway, I seem to catch some razzing at work for my Fit. I guess it's not exactly as "coply" as donuts and coffee. I do love being able to tote my arsenal to the range. I'm from East central IN so if your close, Shout out.

I'm not sure yet. My first plan is to remove peeling clearcoat and restore my factory 15's. I am thinking a dark graphite? Beyond that, tint and MAYBE body kit. Its my daily driver and I have an 09 mustang in the garage to play with. I'm jus trying to figure out a good way to do the rims. I want to DIY it, but I want it to look good.

55k on an 07 for 7k is a great price, IMO.

I thought so too mike. I've never been into Honda too much but had always heard they held their value. Now I wish I had been driving them long ago.

First welcome to the site. Second great price on your purchase. I got the same razzing when I brought my Fit. My fault because my other car is a Miata which I get razzing all the time since it is not a truck or a V8 muscle car. But it is okay I like my choices.

I guess most people don't expect a 220 lb man in a uniform to get out of this little car. I laugh more at the looks I get than anything. I love my Fit, and when I drive 65 miles to work and back, it's worth every penny.
