Replace batterry on your own
If I replace batterry on my Fit 09. Will I have any electronical issue. I purchased Fit 09 pre-owned. Does the radio come back to normal once batterry is back on. I don't have a radio code?

You will need the code for the radio or it isn't going to work... Just copy your VIN number, drive to a dealership and tell them you forgot your code and hand them the VIN# and they should be able to give you the code.... The dealer I went to when I misplaced my code had to look at the VIN# on my car then he looked it up for me and installed the code on the radio for me.

Coyote is in the House! Thanks for advise. I purchased car from a Honda deale. So this shouldn't be a problem. I could had waited until tomorrow to call them. I was going to switch out batterry myself. I finding out batterry is not common. No Wallmart...etc. Wife is now showing a coupon sent from Honda. With specials on services. Guess what they have a special on batterry. $99.00 installed, with warranty.

On some Fits (including mine) there is a sticker in the glove box with the code. It's not identifed as being the code though. Some here say their Fit doesn't have this sticker. Take a look. The code is five degits all 1-6.
