We need to call it old folks cuz of me & Cat

fortunately the recent fires were pretty far from me. We have had some in past years that were closer & could see & smell the smoke.

HA - I hear ya. When I first came on I suggested a Geezer thread - that didn't work, not sure if 'old folks' will do much better. It's nice we gather where ever the snow falls.

Hat's off the the Old Folks!

Glad to hear thing were okay.

Maybe we can be the Grand Fits! or the Elder Fits!

the " how old are you thread" is interesting. Most owners seem to be in their early twenties, except for the penny pinching wise and withered ones.

Looks like my "old guy" post started something. One thing, the younger set in my neighborhood are saying that I have the coolest car on our street. For an old guy that makes me feel about 40 years younger. By the way, my new Fit is a Sport model in the new Blue Raspberry Metalic paint. It does turn heads. I love the look I get when they see an old guy with grey hair and a full beard driving it. One other funny thing. The salesman that sold me the car is about 22 years old or so. He tried to sell me a white CIVIC. I have underwear older than him.....

Ain't life fun.....

A little over 400 miles on the new Fit. I filled her up for the second time today. (I fill up at about the half tank full level.) I set the trip thingie at the last fillup. When I filled up today my milage was 30 mpg on the nose. Beats the heck out of the 21 mpg I was getting out of the CRV I traded in.

Needless to say, the "old guy" is a happy camper.....

Fellow "mature" Fit owners. As it did with Cat, buying a Fit has brought out my inner tuner (which I didn't know I had). What mods are y'all adding to your cars? I'm starting with leather, still debating lighter wheels, Mugen exhaust and shifter. Wondering if the exhaust sound of the Mugen will make me hate myself in the morning.

Damn, Black3sr, I thought I was going wild with the sport pedals and interior lighting kit. You give me hope for the future.

Have fun. I did. I am sort of running out of stuff to do. Maybe vinyl gloss black roof. Too cheap to buy wheels and my tires are lasting forever.

62 here and proud member of the Curmudgeon Club. As well as a big Fit and FitFreak fan! I too expect to be driving my Fit for many years into retirement and I get over 31mpg on Seattle's hills.

Don't take any guff! <thumping cane on floor>

I love the way this thread is going! We got all the oldies but goldies on here modifying their Fits! Awesome! Yup people look at me funny when they see this gray haired soon to be 56 year old rocking a modified Fit. Wait until the tow hook goes back on and the Seibon CF lip is in place.

I somehow missed this thread... I will be receiving my first social security check in a couple of weeks but the money will be going toward a tractor instead of speed equipment for the Fit..I do desperately need a Boomslang harness for my AEM fuel/Ignition Controller and an air/fuel ratio gauge so I may put the tractor off for awhile...I think I must be the oldest person on FF with supercharged Fit..

Once the tow hook gets back from powder coating - it's gonna be a little more Fast and Furious! LOL!
