I'm getting a new 2012 on Monday. I haven't taken possession of the car yet, so I'm pretty excited. But also kind of having second thoughts about the orange. I wanted white, my wife didn't so we settled on Gray. Dealer couldn't find gray but my wife saw the Orange and said "ooohhhh I like that..."... Dealer had an orange just roll off the truck, so we get it on Monday. Research is telling me the color is okay for hiding dirt and pretty good for visibility and middle of the road for heat absorption.

What has anyone else experienced with the orangeburst?

What has anyone else experienced with the sunburst orange?
It still looks good for awhile after a cleaning. It's cooler here now, so can't comment on heat. You'll love it, but I'm a bit bias towards OBM!

I watched a couple youtube vids last night that were centered around the orangeburst color. I am really digging it. Even my 17 year old son, who is very street savvy and fashion aware, thinks it's an awesome color.
I can't wait!!

You must have saw that YouTube from the Arizona Dealership? Yea, I really think the Orangeburst Metallic is great and I've went from a reaction similar to your initial thoughts to thinking it was one of the best possible choices.

I'm curious though as to how long Honda will keep this color around. They seem to change up the orange quite a bit.

Anyway give us a report back here once you pick it up, and of course take some pictures!

We test drove an Alabaster Silver Metallic Fit.

After the test drive I chose the Orangeburst Metallic. My wife's never been keen on orange colored vehicles, but she's liking it more now and she says the color isn't as orange as others she's seen.

I really love it. I'm very glad I chose OBM.

I got my new orang burst fit 2 weeks ago! I love it - coming from a long time mini van owner - I was afraid of lack of room -- so far it's great. I want to put a hitch on for platform bike rack. I'd also like to put on permanent roof rails - how much will they effect gas mileage?

Not sure how difficult it would be to put on roof rails, I'm sure drilling is involved. Really wish Honda put some mounts in the rain gutters, my 2006 Mazda 3 had mounts under the rain gutters to mount a Thule rack.
