My first car - '07 Honda Fit Sport
Hey all!!
I just bought an '07 Honda Fit Sport A/T in Taffeta White (used of course). It's my very first car. I did a fair amount of research on fuel-efficient subcompacts when I knew I wanted to get a car. A week ago my boss (I work at a used car lot) bought the Fit at auction and I was interested immediately. I thought it would be out of my price range, but it turns out it wasn't. It's got about 131,000 on the odometer and it's a really sweet little thing... I got it for a low price due to the higher mileage, of course, but I'm not concerned about it. Everything has checked out A-OK, and it drives like a dream.
Of course, being a young working girl, I will be wanting to comb these forums for all the information I get get regarding improving my MPG and taking care of my new baby.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on getting your first car!
Like Subie said, take care of the car maintenance wise and it will take care of you as well. Fortunately, Fits are very easy maintain and work on (if you decide to do some of your own maintenance). Feel free to chime in the various discussions we have here on the forum as well as detailed D.I.Y. threads.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I appreciate it.
I know that I want to learn how to take care of it myself. I dislike not knowing what's going on, and I want to stay on top of things and take responsibility for it. I figure it's a very useful skill set to have to know how to do basic maintenance on any vehicle. I hope to learn some around here!
