Potential New Fit owner (updated. Now an owner)
Hello,
I am in the market for a small 4 door hatchback, and so far the Fit is "fitting" all of my needs for options, and style. I plan on going to test drive a new 2011 fit sport this afternoon.
One of my main concerns is, I am 6' tall, and I want to make sure I can drive this car comfortably. (currently drive a Jeep patriot) I plan to buy a 5spd manual model, so I will definately need to have the leg room to drive it comfortably.
Those 6' and over, is it comfortable?
Also, what options would you consider a "must have" on a fit? I want to make sure I don't miss out on a really great option that I could have added up front. If my mod bug is anything like it was in my past, this car will not be stock for long. (had a 2003 corolla with a supercharger).
Thanks in advance for any insight.

Glad to hear you fit in your Fit. Welcome to the forum.
One thing I've found helpful is raising the front of the seats a bit by pulling the front rail bolts and placing 3-4 3/8 washers under the front of the rails and replacing the bolts. Gives a bit of thigh support lacking in the stock setup.

35 miles on the car, and my TPMS light came on. Looks like it might be a bad wheel sensor. Oh well, not a big deal.
I'm happy to see I have a lot of options for intakes, exhaust, and suspension. I so used to be limited to 2 brands with my old toyotas. Right now, I'm doing my research on intakes, so that will probably be my first mod.

I'd bet the dealership failed to check the inflation in your tires before making delivery.

Thats what I originally thought too, but I see it is not the low pressure warning light, its the actually TPMS system failure light.
