You're paying for good things in life. The rule of the game is 'you gotta pay to play.'

And as for the Fit, you get so much more for your buck!

Take it one step at a time. There's loads of information already on the forum to help you with your GE8 - any questions just ask
One question I do have is about the front license plate. When I was at the dealer, they were telling me they're going to have to drill the front bumper to put in the front license plate. Is there a bracket or something I can get to prevent them from needing to do that? I've seen some mentions about relocating the front license plate off to the side, but they were talking about an 08 Fit and I know there's been a redesign since then. Does that mod exist for GE's and if there is a bracket, where do I get it? I've seen JDM ones, but there were two kinds and I wasn't sure which one I needed? Help? lol

AAAH! The dealer just called and told me they found one! Apparently they have to trade a car to another dealership in exchange for my fit but it'll be here in a few days. YAY!

If you don't want them to drill holes in your car then don't mount the front license plate. That's what I did.

The problem is that NY requires a front license plate be displayed. I mean I guess I can tell them not to and then hope the cops don't notice me but I'm not sure how long that will last. I just wish I knew which of the offside brackets would work for a GE8, then I would take the chance of driving around without the front plate until I could get one sent here.

I live in NJ. The law is the same here too. I've owned my car for 6 months and been ticketed twice so far. I personally would rather pay $50 than drill holes in my bumper, and front plates look bad too.

Vampkiss, as my mom keeps telling me, "you will be the first person to put your a$$ in it. " meaning that its yours and only yours. i think that owning a brand new car is the best feeling even if you spend a little more. I wish i financed a new car instead of buying a bmw with 80k miles which is now proving to be costly and unreliable so much that i spend as much money as a new car montly payment.

haha oh you're a girl. This forum has a lot of girls (maybe the Fit is a chick's car... ). Yeah, cops give girls breaks. The first time I got stopped for no front plate the cop took away my family member PBA card and still gave me the ticket.

Congrats! Hope to see ya at the meets / get togethers. As for the front plate, I never had one on my prelude, and it really got to be a pain in the ass.. maybe if you're a real hot Chic you'll have nothing to worry bout LOL
