Gonna get Fit
Hi y'all... OH LOOK AT THE NEWB LOL... yup, that's me.
Looking for a new car, and I'm pretty certain it's going to be a Fit. Unless the bottom falls out of it during test drive. Then I'll take some pretty pictures with my pretty camera.
Anyone near St. Louis, MO? I'm not a native, but I am here now. Know a decent dealer?
BTW, I'm gonna ask a stupid question... because I only bought a new car once years ago ('95) and I can't remember how I did it. Do dealers typically accept personal checks for down? Or are they gonna want something more special...
... in part I ask, 'cause I'm expecting put down the whole MSRP+fees at once. No loan.

yah, they will usually accept personal checks and most dealers will even accept creditcards for like up to $3K. i always do that to accumulate our United milage and pay the rest with personal check. hahaha.
good luck on the test drive.
