Talking Fit NEWB!

Hey guys n gals! I'm Biff, and I'm a total Honda Fit newbie! I have a Scion tC MT that used to have a GReddy turbo till I took it off to save gas, I also have a 2003 Corolla AT, bunch of ICE mods, I am currently fixing the suspension to KSport Kontrols and it's getting 17" '5Z' FN01-R in flat black.

So far, I really like how the first gens look (especially the ones you guys modded!) and I am thinking about bringing the new 2009 with i-VTEC home but, it has some competitions I like also which are the: 2008 base Toyota Yaris LB (tested, loved its tight turning circle!), 2010 Prius -might get 100+MPG as far as I know (needs a bunch of handling mods.), and a 2008 Mini Cooper with Premium pkg. (awesome car!) and get suspension parts from Hotchkis. I never tried a Fit myself though, but my friend had one for a short while before he traded it for an Si Sedan, the ride felt quite stiff with racing springs on.

Do you guys have leaks on what the 2009's engine model is? I want the 09 because of the i-VTEC, which gives an extra 10bhp. (might be little, but it just may make a difference later on when modding...) Did anyone also get leaks on what the 2009 Fit might get for aftermarket mods? Would it be a 6 year wait for the mods to arrive or would it be a day after release just like the other tuner Hondas?

I would love to hear some info on the 09,

Thank you!
