New to Honda

Hi,

Picked up my NHBP Base Fit last weekend. A nice manual . Its been a blast driving to work so far. No mods yet of course; but, I have a Mugen shiftknob coming (the dildo-ish one). Still looking/researching wheels. Worried about TPMS and aftermarket wheels. I'll most likely get something in black or bronze. Other than that, nothing planned since I have another car for that .

Here are the pics I have so far.

My other car

I'm a Subaru guy at heart. And this is the modified one with more coming. Currently saving up for an engine swap.

Wheels:
Anthracite Prodrive P7s 17"
Gold STI V7 17"

Suspension:
Various Whiteline bits (Camber plates, endlinks, etc)
Raceomp Engineering Tarmac 2 Coilovers

Interior:
'04 WRX Seats

Congrats on the Fit!

The first pick made me look to where you hale from. As it looked kinda like an odd JDM/EDM hybrid of sorts...but alas it was just my impatience. I then read it was a base model and you were probably standing close with a slightly wide angle pic.

Dont loose sleep about the TPMS unless you really care about having it, or you hate random lights that remain on. Both of which can be fixed in either normal or odd/obscure ways.

enjoy your new ride

Nice pick up...Sometimes I wished I would of gotten the base instead of the sport. Anyhow what all do you have done to the Subaru??

Suspension work so far. I've done very little to the exterior. Its my auto-x car.

Wheels:
Anthracite Prodrive P7s 17"
Gold STI V7 17"

Suspension:
Various Whiteline bits (Camber plates, endlinks, etc)
Raceomp Engineering Tarmac 2 Coilovers

Interior:
'04 WRX Seats

I'm also saving up for an engine swap in about a year.

I've always admired that model Impreza. And lol @ dildo-shaped Mugen shiftknob.

The more I drive this car. The more fun it is. Its a completely different sensation from driving the impreza. It feels more flickable and the gearing definitely inspires a feeling of faster acceleration. I'm tempted to bring it to the next auto-x just to try it out.
