Hey... London Girl!

Hi everyone!

My name is Kerry and I currently own a DC2 (previously had DC5, S2000 and EP3). I love my hondas and Im now looking to purchase a Honda fit and add some nice mugen/spoon accessories.

Fits/ Jazz are not very big in the UK, mostly seen as Grandma cars. The model I would like to get is the 1.5 Vtec in White, which is not avaliable in the UK. So im currently trying to source one in Japan.

Forum looks great and I cant wait to get one and get started!

They are considered really small in the US too j/k
In Other countries I hear they are a midsize HAAHAAA...

I thought they were really popular in the UK... (but what do I know, I am not just across the pond but on the other side of the country too)

We also have an impressive abundance of slighty older (as in elder) citizens who happen to fancy this car. Its cool by me-
Hondas help bridge a societal gap! Keepin it real from the 20's-80's (I smell a Honda commercial brewing.... )
Its kinda like that idea of classic minis (my fav/dream vehicle btw) where had their not been so many " original one old lady owners " there would be less of them left.
We are going to be set with good condition used Fits in the future .

Oh WELCOME btw
Good luck on your vtec quest. I hope you get one.

Its petrol prices that are killing me! Im just hoping I can get my hands on what Im looking for... it has to be white! I already have uprated spoon suspension and exhaust in my posession, just need the car Lol...

A K20 engine would be a nice upgrade but bang goes that idea of a cheaper car to run lol

Lol... thats for me to know!

TBH I hang out at my friends workshop alot, he is a Honda Specialist and races DC5's in the Brit Car Series. I plan to get most of the work carried out by him, as he is the Don of Hondas.

He is fitting roll-cages in two Fits/Jazz race cars next week. I will be hoping to get a glimpse of what kit is inside them! hehehe

Good luck with your search. Since you seem to have a good source for parts and help, how about buying the cheapest white Fit/Jazz you can find and then do a K swap? You'll still have fantastic fuel economy with such a light car and Honda power. The L15 isn't so great that it's worth searching for IMHO.

Hiya, this is a bit of a coincidence. Not only do I have a EP3-R, I'm also in London and my wife is looking to get the pearlescent white jazz. But unfortunately the only model reports we have in the country is for the Automatic imports. The 1.5 Vtec Fit is manual.

We've enquired about this already but its quite expensive to get the model report done.

Let me know how you get on, we're very interested in this.

Lol... well Im Scottish so I am more your haggis eating, whisky drinking, car driving girl lol

I looked into a K20 implant but TBH it would cost too much for what I need to car to do at the moment. Who knows in the future tho!

I have noted that most Fits coming into the UK are Auto's, got someone looking into that for me but I will let you know If I can find a cheaper way of getting our hands on one. How much did they say it would cost?
