Hey,

just got a very used 2015 Honda fit and it started and the CEL turned on. I expect for the car to run a bit rough for having 160,000 but I need some help with the codes it’s coming up for. Trying to do this myself, but looking for a place to start.

P0172 - Bank 1 System too rich
P219A - Air-Fuel ratio imbalance
P2096 - Post catalytic fuel trim system too lean bank 1

any help would be appreciated!

 

your 2015 Honda Fit has codes P0172, P219A, and P2096. have you tried starting by cleaning the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor and checking the oxygen sensors??? inspect fuel pressure and look for any vacuum or exhaust leaks. make sure the fuel injectors are clean. Reset the codes and see if they come back. If they do, consider getting a mechanic's help.
