Hi, I am a Fit Freak newbie. I have a 2010 manual transmission and love it, but would like to take advantage of the 2020 safety and other features. I have tried very hard to find a 2020 manual, used or new, with zero results. I have even contacted Honda HQ and the California DMV to see if it is possible to get a Jazz imported and made California compliant. (No, if I want to maintain it here.) Is there any way to convert a new Fit automatic to manual and still be able to maintain it, warranty, etc.? Thanks very much. Adrienne

 

dont bother. this is a terrible, terrible, terrible idea.

It goes beyond the extensive mechanical aspects fitmanuallover, as the ECU/PCM would be expecting auto tranny inputs and finding none. You'd need to figure out how to reprogram the software. If you like manuals (as do I), you might look at the VW Golf/GTI.
