Before and after tint

Before and after tint
I had my windows tinted last week...Here are before/after pictures. I have a few more things in mind but this is the first modification.
Material: Sun-Gard High Performance Metallic
Done at: www.dr-tint.com
I am please with the job. I also used their Heat Gun to remove the dealers logo on the back...So 2x modifications done
I saw a bubble at a corner of a window, went back and they fixed it in 20 seconds.
The Tint for the car is:
50% front (incl: Sunstrip) 50% is "illegal" in Quebec, we are allowed 70% max. They could stop me for inspection...I'll have to wait and see
35% Back
20% Rear window

For the benefit of those reading who don't know what the percentages mean. It represents the amount of light that passes through with the tint film applied. So 5% means that only 5% of the light gets through. The lower the percentage the darker it is. 0% would allow no light ie. completely blacked out.
Different countries and even states within those countries have different laws regarding how dark you can go. In Australia 35% is the legal limit all round (except windscreen that can't be tinted except for a small strip at the top). Authorities can test how dark a film is with a light meter or a test card / strip.

In my state, it's unlimited in rear, no tint up front.
So you literally can have opaque double layer 0% on all your rears, but your fronts have to be stock. Idiotic.
That's not to say I won't be putting on a little anyway - was planning the same for mine, actually... 20/35/50. Although seeing it now, may go 15/25/50...

The two front windows is 70% max.
Windshield well 0%, suntrip 6 inches max.
Everything else we can do what we want.
And for "Je me souviens"....Well I actually do not remember what it refers to !!

No there not strict. But if they pull me over for something and I try to be a smart ass they might add the window as a bonus. I will not be stopped just for the windows.
So I'm practicing; "Yes, Sir" "Thank you, Sir" and "Have a nice day, Sir"
