Don't know about your area in Texas - but where I'm from I think under body LEDs are illegal....(just fyi - if you don't care, you don't care...)

I think they are illegal if your engine is started or moving. Thats the law up here if I remember correctly. You can have them on your car, but cannot have them on unless you are completely stopped and engine off.

I think the reason there hasn't been any responses is because no one is interested in this and I don't think anyone on the board has done this either. Either way, I've heard Streetglow many times, and that LED ones are the most popular now. Not really sure myself.

Oh, crushing me. The laws are crushing me. I have the blue fit and wanted some blue lights. They just looked so good on the inside, I was sure that it would be great to have them on the outside. But damn I only want them if I can use them all the time and not get tickets...shiat. By the way can anyone confirm if they are illegal in texas. Ive found plenty of conformations in other states.

If they're Blue they are reserved colors for emergency vehicles...so Illegal for you and me. No one's stopping you though..if you really want them....

Streetglow Flourescents

I LIKE THE OLD SCHOOL RICER LOOK, I HAVE THEM ON MY SILVER FIT, THEY HAVE THEM AT PEP BOYS, ( blue&red ) $159, They ( STREETGLOW ) also have a network of installers, a little pricey but they guarantee the tubes for as long as you own them. They are also illegal here in Illinois, but I haven't been pulled over yet. I was told by the installers that they (the police) just make you turn them off. Unless they need money for donuts !!!
