Door Visors, Honda wants $120 now for install.
I have a question regarding the OEM door visors. When I first purchased the Fit the Salesman told me the accessory prices on from Honda were the prices included with install, and that's why they were higher in price than Bernardi, or College Hills for example. I am having my Mugen accessories installed today and I asked if they happened to have any door visors on stock, because I was thinking about getting them. The parts guy said that they has some in and that it would be $125.00 to install. I told him what the salesman said about install price included and he said no. He then printed me out instructions of the install which I already have, and said if you want to do them yourself you can save $50.00. So I guess I have tell the end of the day to decide if I want to pick them up at Honda for $25 dollars more than Bernardi, install them myself, or I can call up Honda and tell them to go ahead and install them. Or I can buy them from Bernardi and wait for them to come in. The thing is though, after looking at the instructions of the door visors it seems a little complicated. I really don't want to mess it up. What should I do?

LOL $50 bucks... I've installed a lot of these "Honda Genuine Accessories" including the Fit's visors and i can tell you that they're a lot simpler than the instructions make them out to be. In fact, i dont recall even needing any tools. Save yourself the money.

I think Honda try's to make the instructions look difficult the pictures of the door visor installation looks little space ship diagrams. When I look at the actual part it appears like it would be a simple install like you said though. Maybe I will just buy them and install them myself when I go to pick my vehicle up later today. I just really don't want to fubar it up. I saw the installation video from College Hills and it looks like he's just sticking them on with the adhesive. It's probably one of those things that when you have everything in front of you, one of those aaahhh moments comes into play.

The other day I asked my parts guy again about it, I guess I sounded bummed, or maybe he was just in a good mood, but he wrote me a quote for the install with purchase of $75.00 now. But now that I'm hearing that it's fairly easy to do your self, I might just pick them up at Bernardi.com or College Hills and have a go myself.
Thanks folks.
