Wheel center caps. How to keep them on???

I bought a set of 78 Civic ones I believe. The neoprene(maybe some sort of rubber) lip on them has worn off.

Any suggestions how to keep them on? They will go on my 15 Steeleies. Here is a pic of one sort of on.

Thanks

bump. Someone must know. At least could you tell me if originally they are just pushed/hammered on over the wheel lip?

Thanks

Do the center caps have little tabs with what look like catches on the back? If so just bend the tabs out a little bit and the caps should snap on.

Old thread. No these go over the outside of the center of wheel. I found out if pound them on with rubber mallet they do not come off. I had not been driving them on far enough.

Sorry, I knew it was a little old, but I thought you were still in need of assistance.
