nothing drills better than a drill
measure twice, start with a pilot hole, then commit. good luck!

I would only use the tape as a last resort or if there is no way to drill... Im assuming this is a spoon or spoon style spoiler... The 3M will hold, but it will lift on the edges after some time... but it will not fly off your car. But i would suggest drilling it... its not very hard.

measure twice...it wasnt that hard..Theres a right up that he did for using the double sided tabs that came with the spolier as a template..

I see you already got it on but ill throw my .02 in any ways

When I put on my spoon spoiler I used painters tape and taped up the top so I could mark it up while make measurements. I had my brother help me and we measured about a half dozen times. When we were confident we got it we used a center punch to to mark the holes, then I think used a very small bit to make a pilot hole.

Make sure you guys use some painters putty around the holes to keep out water from seeping in. I've seen spoiler holes that don't have the putty and the water will start rusting the hole and gets messy in the long run.

painter's putty or any type of silicone sealant will prevent water from entering and, more importantly, protect against rust.
