Help!! Dent on the door
Help everyone. I got a dent on the driver side door.
I parked my car at work at one of the JERK open the door and hit my car. I got a dent on the door. The dent located at the line on top of the door handle and little bit behind the door handle. I want to cry...........my car.........
Do anyone know any tools can fix the dent with out go to body shop. I heard of TV, one of the company developed somthing call "DentOut Paintless Dent Repair". Does it work, my friend told me that and I placed an order of this:
http://www.autotoolmart.com/cgi-bin/...84&p_func=jump
Can anyone tell me about this product?

As long as the paint surface hasn't been broken, go to a paintless dent repair place to have it fixed. They can do wonders and you'll never know the dent was there.
One caveat, though... the repair is only as good as the tech doing the job. The good ones are artists... the bad ones are hacks! Make sure you see a sample of their work first before committing to having them do the repair. That being said, I wouldn't try fixing it myself with one of those at home kits... you really need to know what your doing or you can ruin the panel.
Good luck... and park on the other side of the parking lot. I would also confront the guy that dented your door to pay for the repairs.

It is only as a last resort that I would go to a body shop to have it repaired and repainted the traditional way. Trust me... I used to work in a paint shop and it is very rare that paint shops do a 100% perfect job on repairs. You are much better off going the PDR route if possible.
Do you happen to have a picture of the damage??

Dimple and scratch
I've only had my Fit a month and I got one of those too. Some kid on a bike I suspect. A dimple with a scratch trailing away from it. I took a half-dozen pics of it and emailed them to a local paintless dent removal guy and he quoted me a price between $85 and $120. (and he comes to your home if you live in his area.) I think I'm going to have him do it.

Fit "christened" by shopping cart!
MY beautiful Vivid Blue Pearl Fit Sport with just 1,200 miles was just hit with a shopping cart in the local supermarket parking lot. The driver's side rear door has two 3" round dents joined by a 12" crease. Of course there were no witnesses, no apologetic note etc.. I took it to the Honda Body shop and it is going to cost $641. to fix! They have to repair the damage and paint both doors to "blend" the paint.
I was devastated! I went back to the supermarket (Hanaford) and talked to the manager. He was very helpful as he took pictures and filed a report for the corporate headquarters. Hopefully I will get some re-imbursement.
It will take 2-3 days to repair when I take it in on July 30th. I will be changing my $500 deductible insurance to $250 in the near future. I had no idea this seemingly minor repair would be so expensive.

I got a dent on my drivers door from a low flying canada goose. Stupid thing must have been blind, because it flew right into the door while i was goin 75 mph heading to the lake for the weekend. What a start to a weekend may i say that was... 1000 miles on the odometer
Anyhow, point of my story. Take the car to a specialist. I took mine to a guy located next to me in our complex (Pop-a-dent). The dent was not too bad, but he did tell me that if he were to try manipulate the sheet metal it would probally end up worse. The dent is right on the seam of the drivers door below the handle. Just something i have to live with i guess. I would never NEVER EVER try pop a dent myself. I am in the auto customization business and know that trying to fix something you dont specialize in often leads to you spending more $$$ to get it done right

I had a similar problem, took it back to the dealer and the dent fella told me that since the dent wasn't in a "dome" shape and was pointed, removing it might cause the paint to crack. so nevermind. you cant really tell its there anyways.....but i know its there. shhhhh lol

A big freaking rock hit my hood and put 2 dents on the hood luckily the clear bra helped it from being any more worse. I had a dent guy at work pull the dents out and it looks brand new now, he is the best that I know. But yeah take it to someone who knows what they are doing.
