installation of OEM front lip and side skirts

i have the used oem sport front lip kit. i was wondering if it is possible to just drill the sides of the lip onto the bumper. would it be even necessary to drill under the car and stuff like how it is factory installed? would the 4 bolts hold up? tahnks guys

I think the majority of the holes will be there already no? I wouldn't just trust the end bolts. Again I'm assuming thats what your talking about. Your best bet is to secure it fairly well. The last thing you want is highway speeds or a deep puddle ripping it off.

No, just using the side bolts will not hold it up. I had my first front lip held that way, I cut off the mounting points that require cutting the front bumper and used double sided tape to hold it up in the front. I lost that lip at 70 mph on the freeway.
With the second sport lip I had had cut off the part that requires you to cut the bumper, but I did use the 3 bolts that you install from inside the bumper. You have to take off the front bumper and drill out three marked holes in the bottom of the bumper. Then you install the 3 bolts through the bumper into the lip.
I have since taken off my sport lip, and you cannot see the three drilled holes unless you're under the car.

You should read the manual very carefully..and then you should work accordingly..and if you don't feel comfortable with it don't try yourself take it to the dealor he will help you in doing that..

the dealer usually wont do custom stuff like that, take it to a body shop, should be way cheaper

It's an easy enough install. You can do it in your driveway.

yeah, that should probably hold okay. i would pair it with double sided tape just to be sure though.
it would be better if you put nuts on the other end of the bolts/screws from inside the bumper.
the front lip has brackets for the bolts to screw into. it's a pretty good design. i highly recommend installing it by taking off the front bumper. it only takes like 5 minutes.
