CALL Angelo! He will replace them, but he can't do anything once they are on your car.

I would but since they are bound to get abused anyway I will spare zeta the effort and just install them, I'll post pictures soon.

You are an intelligent, and nice guy. Are the surface defects bad/extremely obvious? Angelo Mazullo would be very interested to know what your feelings are. This is a new product, custom-made for him by a molding manufacturer. Angelo expects his customers to receive this product in perfect condition. Anything other than perfect is a matter of concern. Please let him know what your problems are.

I'll take some pictures of them when I get home today and point out the imperfections, the only cause I can think of is if they dried in a dirty environment, but the overall quality is excellent as is the color match so it hardly detracts from the overall product in my opinion, it's just not smooth to the fingernail in multiple areas.

Is it possible to take a picture of the problem area? I can then show it to the QC dept.

The below picture is of one of the 3 or 4 little knicks/imperfections on my set.

I just installed them today anyway, they look great and I barely did all of that extra stuff in the DIY, I just measured 13 front 14 back and ran tape along the tops of those and used it as a guide to install them. I have really steady hands so I just peeled it all off and slowly stuck them on starting at the crevice between front/rear doors. Took 45min total including preperation. The denatured alcohol left a thick haze so I wiped that down with a microfiber before using probond and prior to installing the moldings.

In other news, my dash just started making rattling noises from the VIN area--strange, and annoying, I'm going to make the dealer check it out because my Fit is otherwise extremely quiet with the windows up.
Does anyone else notice that there is more foam in the far left corner of the dash/windshield crevice than the rest of it? Wonder why...

Too bad they are already on the car. I would have replaced them. Anyway, enjoy! Post images.

Just to clarify I have been offered replacement by Zeta on numerous occasions (including above) but the thing is I just don't care about going through the replacement process for something that is intended to take damage and is going to take damage anyway--that's the point of it. That said, the quality is excellent, installation was easy, and the color matches perfectly. A+ Product!

One way to reduce the amount of prep with the tape is to
use a laser level .
It would have to be the type that can project it's line on walls .

Has anyone installed the Zeta moldings on an 09 Fit? Did your measurements for the installation differ from DIY instructions posted previously?

My bad, all the Fits at Immke have them so I thought they came standard...looks like they are actually an accessory:
