Mugen Style Front Fiberglass Lip

I did a search for "Mugen Lip" to try and see if anybody has this lip, but since "Lip" is too small to search, it brought back every single thread that mentions Mugen in it...

Anyway, this is the lip I'm talking about:

I know a lot of people have the other style Mugen lip, but I don't like it as much. I like this one since it comes out to a point and doesn't go all the way up to the fog lights.

I know SD_MR_FIT (James? I've been MIA for a while, can't remember everybody's names) has it, but his is carbon fiber and he's apparently already been through two. I don't want to go down that route, and am wondering if anybody has the fiberglass lip and pictures that they could post up to give me an idea of what the finished product looks like.

Also, how much did you pay to have it painted?

Thanks!

The only thing I would say about having a FG front lip is if you even remotely curb it, you can bank on the lip either getting damaged pretty bad or the paint will spiderweb on you...

Oh, I know. I just haven't had any luck finding this lip in anything but fiberglass or carbon fiber...

im going to pickup the fiberglass lip.

but im only going to install it for like photos and stuff other then that, it will be off my car.

this is more fragile then my carbon fiber.
but let me tell you, if you are on 15's and are lowered. you must be very very carefull with this lip. i sometimes got stuck in parking lots, because i couldnt get out.

this will drop your front end drastically. just say with my lip i was about 5 fingers off the ground.

it was insane.

just remember paint is pretty costly too. i was quoted 50 bucks. so i figured why not just go carbon.

and the fitment on the fiberglass isnt as good as the carbon. but the fitment is still pretty decent, just need to fix minor things i think(dont really know though).

nobody has that style of lip on their car. i was the only one rocking it.

it looks soooo nice though... i say order 2 haha. but uh, yeah only put that lip on for meets and and photoshoots. then just rock your stock lip daily. i made that mistake, i wanted to rep the fits and look good everyday. but that cost me 450 in the end.

wouldn't this hold up better than the stock painted lip or the super dropped mugen? The seibon Mugen lip looks slightly higher as well.
Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread

I think I'm just going to go ahead and do it... see what happens.

I'll see if I can rock it daily, and if not... Hell, it's not that expensive to replace. I'm thinking of grabbing the fiberglass Ken Style (shouldn't it be Ken Style style? ) spoiler as well and just getting it all painted at the same time.

I know you guys like to lower your cars and not to mention, do not have any difficulty with the lip spoiler being few inches from the pavement - would that put the latter in high risk for scrapes? Anyone do not mind shelling $200 for paint and repair every now and then?

Ya, but you would just have to be more careful when driving.

You are being comical, Mr. Fit from San Diego; here in Texas, especially DFW, the second-hand roads are notorious for dips and as well, speed bumps.

I try to be careful, every time. It would be nice if scrapes could magically disappear, just like blisters on the skin.
