Fit sport lip onto base front bumper
Hmmmmm....after further investigation I do believe that the base and sport Fits have two different but very identical bumpers.
College Hills Honda states that the base Fit bumper is
00104711-SLN-A71ZZFACE, FR. BUMPER (DOT)12007FIT
while the Sport Fit bumper is
00104711-SLN-A81ZZFACE, FR. BUMPER (DOT)12007FIT
I have no doubt that it can be installed. But I want to hear from other members,if there are any,who has done it.
I do believe the base fit doesnt have the little hole under the bumper for the tab from the sport lip to go into, but i may be wrong.
What can also help me alot also is,if anybody can take a picture of a sport bumper, without the lip of course.Just cause i wanna see the difference.

do you know if there are holes on the underside of the base's bumper where i can use the bolts that are preset on the lip or do i have to drill them?
also do you know if the sport's sideskirt will fit?I understand the base one's dont have the holes for the clips?

Just a thought...
Maybe the difference in p/n is because the sport bumpers already have the fog light cutouts while the base do not?
Anyways, good to know the sport lip can be mounted on a base without drilling the extra holes people say are visible when taking the lip off a Sport.

if nobody here knows, and i'm not mistaken, you can go to the honda dealer's parts department and they can pull up a diagram of the front bumper area of the fit, and you guys can look at that and decide what parts you need to add the front lip.
